Getting Involved Is Easy
Membership of the Forge is open to organisations and individuals who are part of the local community and who support the Partnership's aims. Every two months there is a meeting open to all members of the Partnership to share ideas update others on progress and seek assistance.
Each year an Executive Committee is elected at the company's annual general meeting from the representatives of member organisations and individual members, and also includes a representative of Tankersley Parish Council and two Barnsley councillors. It meets every two months, or as required, and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Forge, and holding its staff to account for the delivery of its action plan.
If you want to be part of the Forge and do great works in the community it easy to join just give us a call or drop us an email, better still pop in to our office at Hoyland Common Community Centre.
